Railway exhibition
Every year ASVAFER organises an exhibition where many of its activities are shown. This exhibition has been held for more than 30 years coinciding with the Fair and Festivities of the Virgin of San Lorenzo in Valladolid, being an activity designed for the whole family, from grandparents to grandchildren.
During the days of the exhibition our headquarters are open to the public, who can enjoy our activities, among others:
- The different railway models with reproductions of different types of landscapes and a multitude of trains running through them. In one of the models the trains pass from one room to another crossing the wall through two double track tunnels; others represent the railway past and present of Valladolid.
- The Ridable Model Railway Park, where we have a circuit with a 7"1/4 (184 mm) track gauge on which a small train runs, which delights children and adults alike.
- Our Driving Simulator of a Renfe 252 series locomotive. In this simulator, visitors can be virtual train drivers for a few minutes, driving a regional train from one station to the next.
- The Railway Museum with all kinds of objects: signals, tools, measuring devices, etc.
